Glazing Day: Monday, July 14th
Location: Studio at Fort Wayne Clay – Georgetown | 6742 E State Blvd
For MS/HS students
Serious about clay? Or just ready to level up from summer crafts to ceramic skills?
This 4-day teen intensive is built for young artists who want to go deeper. Each day includes:
-
Focused time on the pottery wheel to learn (or sharpen) centering, pulling walls, and creating consistent forms
-
Creative handbuilding projects to explore sculptural ideas, texture, and design
-
Plenty of support in a small group setting, with space to try, mess up, and grow with guidance
On Monday, July 14, students return to glaze their pieces—finishing their work with color and intention before it’s fired.
Includes:
- Unlimited reclaimed clay use
- Use of studio tools
- Glaze for 6 pieces
- Unlimited practice time during Normal Retail Hours
Bring:
- Sketchbook (we’ll be planning, sketching, and designing daily)
- Tools beyond the basics you'd like
- Water bottle
- Lunch each day (fridge and microwave available)
Whether you're building your portfolio, prepping for art classes, or just want to get your hands dirty in the best way—this camp is where creativity gets serious (but still seriously fun).
