Description: So you can center some clay and make some basic forms; now let’s see how far you can push those skills!
This class will strengthen your foundation techniques. We will also cover new shaping techniques and surface decoration. Our goal is to make you a better potter while having a ton of fun.
Must have taken Beginners Wheel or similar experience. You should be comfortable making a bowl and a cylinder intentionally, and have experience trimming and glazing.
Included in Class:
- Shelf in studio
- Practice time during retail hours
- 2 hours with instructor weekly
Students are responsible for:
- Bringing their own tools
- Providing their own clay. We will have plaster slabs available to recycle thrown pieces during class. DO NOT leave your clay on the plaster. It will become studio clay. No exceptions.
- Clean up. We will talk everyone through the cleanup process. If you choose not to clean up, you will not be able to take future classes.

Mon, Tues, Thurs 12 - 8 pm
Fri 12 - 4 pm
Sat 10 - 2 pm
